Meet the Founder.
Dr. Taylor Goulbourne is an Omaha native, born and raised, with family roots in this city that go back generations. She’s spent more than a decade working alongside nonprofits, community organizations, and anchor institutions in Omaha and beyond, and has seen firsthand what happens when community organizations have the tools to understand their own conditions, tell their story, and make the case to funders. Taylor has also seen what gets left on the table when they don’t.
ODC grew out of that experience, along with years of graduate training and research that taught her something simple: when communities can access information about themselves, they’re better equipped to advance health equity.
When she’s not working, you’ll find Taylor chasing her two young sons, tending her garden, or perfecting her sourdough pizza recipe. A former competitive sprinter, she still believes in showing up for her community the same way she showed up on the track: all in.
